I feel like the additions you added to this song really work in a sense; it kind of feels like the emotions you feel when you first play MC in some way that I don't know how to describe, but honestly it's pretty neat how you can evoke these feelings by adding to a song that's already nostalgic enough.

I'm not even sure anymore that was almost 4 years ago, But I know that I used a lot of harmor for pretty much everything, maybe sytrus for the pads

This is really nice, It feels quite Nostalgic to me and I just don't know why (Maybe because it's SM64).
Also if you want to use more Nintendo synths but in Higher Quality, consider picking up Roland Sound Canvas.
